3. Logo decoration methods
The right decoration method depends on your logo complexity, fabric type, order quantity and budget. Here are the four methods we use on custom cardigans with logo print:
Embroidery — the premium standard for cardigans
Thread sewn directly into the fabric for a textured, raised finish. Highly durable — survives hundreds of machine washes without fading or peeling. The professional choice for banking, finance, hospitality, healthcare and any client-facing role. Best for logos with defined shapes and up to 8 colours. Recommended logo size: 6×6cm to 9×9cm on left chest.
Screen printing
Ink pushed through a mesh screen directly onto the fabric. Best on smooth, flat fabric panels (not ribbed areas). Vivid, cost-effective at MOQ 100+, and great for bold logos, event slogans and back-of-cardigan text. Not ideal for photographic detail or gradients.
Heat transfer / DTF (Direct-to-Film)
A full-colour design is printed onto a transfer film and heat-pressed onto the garment. Ideal for photographic logos, multi-colour gradients and designs that are impractical to embroider. Lower MOQ than screen printing (from 20 pcs). Durability is slightly lower than embroidery but entirely acceptable for 2–3 years of regular wear.
Woven label / patch
A custom woven badge sewn onto the chest or sleeve. Premium aesthetic — similar to what you see on branded sportswear and designer workwear. Works on heavily textured knit fabric where embroidery might distort. Higher unit cost but exceptional longevity and brand impact. Minimum label order typically 200 pcs (labels are produced in batches).

Prices exclude GST and include one-colour embroidery on left chest. Additional logo positions and colours priced separately. Bulk discounts apply at 200+ pcs.

7. How to order — step by step
Send us your brief
Share your logo file (AI / EPS / high-res PNG), required quantity, preferred style, colours and delivery date. WhatsApp or email works fine at this stage.
Receive your quote and mock-up
We come back with a formal quotation and a digital mock-up showing your logo on the cardigan within 1 working day. No commitment required at this stage.
Review a physical fabric swatch (optional)
If you want to feel the fabric before committing, we send a swatch pack to your office. This step adds 2–3 days but eliminates surprises on delivery.
Confirm order and pay deposit
50% deposit to commence production. We accept bank transfer, PayNow and corporate PO. We issue an official tax invoice (GST-registered).
Pre-production sample approval
Before bulk production begins, a physical pre-production sample is sent for your approval. You sign off before we proceed — nothing goes to bulk without your green light.
Production and QC
Bulk production begins. Each piece is inspected for logo alignment, stitching quality and sizing accuracy before packing.
Delivery to your door
Island-wide delivery to your office, warehouse or multiple locations. Balance payment on delivery or prior to despatch — whichever suits your accounts process.
8. Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order quantity for custom cardigans in Singapore?
Our MOQ is 100 pcs per style and colour. For orders of 300 pcs and above, additional bulk discounts apply. Contact us if you need fewer than 100 — we will advise on the best option for your requirement.
Can I order multiple colours in one batch?
Yes. The MOQ of 100 pcs applies per colour per style. If you need navy for one department and black for another, that is two separate colour runs — each at a minimum of 100 pcs.
Which is better for a cardigan — embroidery or printing?
Embroidery is strongly preferred for cardigans. The knit texture of cardigan fabric causes screen-printed ink to crack over time; embroidery locks into the fibres and lasts as long as the garment. For very fine logo detail or full-colour gradients, DTF heat transfer is the better alternative to screen print on knit fabric.
How long does a custom cardigan order take?
Standard lead time is 14–25 working days from order confirmation, depending on style and complexity. Rush production is available — contact us with your event date and we will advise on feasibility.
Can I get a size run — XS to 5XL in the same order?
Yes. We can accommodate full size runs from XS to 5XL in a single order. We recommend a size distribution breakdown from you before ordering (e.g. 5 × XS, 15 × S, 20 × M etc.) — this prevents costly leftover stock.
Do you supply cardigans for ladies and gents separately?
Yes. We carry unisex, men’s straight-cut and ladies’ fitted cuts. For uniform programmes where both cuts are needed, we recommend ordering both in one go so the logo placement and fabric batch are consistent across the programme.
Are you GST-registered?
Yes. Aquaholic Gifts Pte Ltd is GST-registered. All invoices include GST and can be submitted for input tax claims by registered businesses.
